Hello Berliners and anyone looking to get active in this city!
Berlin offers a huge variety of sports and activities to keep you moving, whether you’re spending too much time at a desk during your 9–5, buried in books to finish your studies, or just a little too comfortable scrolling TikTok on the couch.
If you’re reading this and nodding along, then this post is for you. Here, I’ll walk (pun intended 😄) you through my favorite sports studios in Berlin that you can access via partners like Urban Sports. I’m a heavy user of Urban Sports myself as it completely transformed me from someone who struggled to motivate herself to go to the gym into a person who has tried several different sports and finally found her balance. My perfect routine includes Weight-lifting, Rowing, Reformer Pilates and to relax and stretch Yin Yoga & Mediation.
All the studios below are available through the app, but of course there are other ways to train as well, whether through ClassPass, Well Hub, or by signing up directly with the studio. Personally, I love subscription models like Urban Sports because I get bored quickly with a single studio. They offer a wide variety of classes, so you can stay flexible and book whatever fits your mood that day.
As you might have already read in my Berlin food blog post, I rarely leave Prenzlauer Berg so this is also the case for sport studios😄
I really enjoy all of the studios below, in no particular order, so just explore!
1. House of Healing

This small and cozy studio is my go-to spot for Yin & Sound on Monday evenings, where my dear friend Kim leads the class. If you’re looking to unwind with gentle Yin stretches and immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of singing bowls, this is the perfect place for you. Next to Yin Yoga they offer also a variety of Vinyasa, Meditation and Pilates. I also like the Feel Good Yoga Flow on Monday mornings: the perfect way to start the week.
They also have a much bigger studio in Charlottenburg.
2. SOUL sport studio
Soul Sportstudio in Pankow, next to Prenzlauer Berg, (they also have a studio in Friedrichshain) is my favorite Reformer Pilates studio. The classes are always well-taught, the space is clean and thoughtfully designed, cozy, not too big, but with everything you need. The trainers are approachable and always happy to help or explain things in more detail if needed.
A big plus is that they offer Reformer Pilates within the M membership at Urban Sports Club, whereas most Pilates studios require the more expensive L membership. Definitely recommend!
3. ACHTER: Indoor-Rowing-Club

A typical Saturday for us starts with a rowing session at ACHTER Indoor-Rowing-Club, followed by a well-deserved brunch: we’ve definitely found our perfect weekend routine.
Rowing is such a great full-body workout and, honestly, so much fun. It trains both your arms and legs (yes, really!), and doesn’t feel as repetitive as other cardio workouts. Every Saturday they also have a music special, so we’ve already rowed to everything from ABBA to Dua Lipa to Pitbull. If you’re looking for a fun cardio workout without having to run, combined with good music, this is definitely for you. Safe to say, it’s never been easier to get moving on a Saturday morning.
4. Hale.Now
Hale. Now is one of those studios I like going to when I want something a bit different from my usual routine. The boutique studio is very aesthetic and has locations all around Berlin. I prefer going to the one in Prenzlauer Berg (surprise!), not only for the location but also because they offer a gym, alongside regular Pilates and Pilates Reformer classes, as well as red light therapy, which makes it feel a bit more like a wellness space than just a studio. If you’re into aerial yoga, you can try that here too!
I like coming here when I feel like a high-quality Gym experience. It’s a good balance between movement and recovery, depending on what you need that day.

5. LIFTED
LIFTED offers strength training for everyone with a fresh and modern approach. Their 45-minute group classes are designed to build strength in a motivating, aesthetic, and friendly environment. If you’re looking for a quick but effective workout, this is definitely the place. The sessions are structured as circuit training, pushing you to lift heavier while keeping things dynamic and engaging. A nice extra: digital screens track your progress, so you can see how much weight you lifted last time and challenge yourself to improve.
It’s also a great option if you’re new to weightlifting, as the trainers are very attentive and always help you with your form and posture.
They also offer studios in Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg.
6. Mindful Life

Mindful Life is my go-to yoga studio since it is very close to me in beautiful Gleimviertel. It offers functional fitness, yoga, and boxing classes for body, mind, and soul. My favorite class is Yin Yoga & Massage, and sometimes they also have really good sound baths. The studio itself is beautiful and has plants hanging from the walls to enjoy when you wake up from savasana 🙂 After your class, you can relax in the studio with a cup of tea. Highly recommend!
7. Slows – The Mental Health Gym
PRENZLAUER BERG

About Slows: Health is more than just movement and nutrition. Slows focuses on the mental side of wellbeing, offering classes that combine mindfulness, breathing techniques, and gentle movement. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking to slow down, reconnect, and take a break from the fast-paced Berlin lifestyle.
I usually come here on my rest days to decompress and get my mind in the right state. My favorite classes here are Mindfulness Meditation and Deep Relaxation. They also offer Yin Yoga and Pilates Flow if you are in the mood to move. The studio itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the mats and props are high quality, and you’ll always leave this place with a clear mind.
8. Boaré
Last but not least, BOARÉ offers two studios in Prenzlauer Berg—one near Danziger Straße and one on Rodenbergstraße. The Rodenbergstraße location is more spacious, but both studios have a welcoming atmosphere and are beautifully designed.

They offer a great variety of classes for all levels. Their yoga sessions focus on mindful living, combining physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional balance through postures, breathwork, and meditation. In addition, they also offer Pilates and workout classes tailored to different fitness goals, including core strength, flexibility, cardio, and endurance.
Since I’m a heavy user of Urban Sports I always try out new studios – so stay tuned for more recommendations, maybe then also outside of Prenzlauer Berg 🙂
